New Meeting Old – Though our beloved pets will be missed, our new pets will help
with our grief and make our days be a little brighter!
I truly enjoyed working with Vermont Granite Works to develop a custom headstone
to memorialize my longtime family cat, Lisa. My original concept to create a natural
unpolished boulder headstone was brought to life by Vermont Granite Works' skilled
stonecutters based on some mock-ups and preliminary designs I sketched. The entire
process from designing, to creating and delivering the monument was extremely fast!
Vermont Granite Works listened carefully to my input throughout the design process,
and and their ability to locate a perfect natural stone based on my concept was
remarkable! They took the idea from my mind's eye and made it a lasting reality.
Vermont Granite Works worked very closely with me to deliver an enduring and beautiful
monument that blends in seamlessly to the picturesque wooded setting where our beloved
family pet now rests in peace.
